SALES REPRESENTATIVE

A leading distributor of void-fill packaging systems (paper, poly, foam-in-place) packaging machinery (case erectors, case sealers, stretch wrappers, shrink machinery, strapping equipment), and related supplies (tapes, films, strapping, kraft), is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to heLp us continue to grow.

POSITION: The Sales Representative will: (1) generate qualified first appointments with prospects and convert to profitable new business, (2) meet daily customer needs and expectations, (3) grow customer product mix (cross-selling), (4) research prospects, customers, prospects, vendors, and products as necessary to build the business portfolio, (5) create and maintain key contact management records, (6) prepare proposals, presentations, and correspondence. Candidate will exhibit confidence and skill as an effective communicator. The qualified applicants will be highly motivated, action oriented, and results driven! Computer savvy. Candidate's qualifications will determine if assignment to outside selling is immediate or preceded by 6-12 months of inside, "hands-on" training. Sales Representative is a commission pay position and may be initially supported by a customized base salary program. This start-up base serves as a unique "bridge" to the candidate's transition to that of "self-supporting" commission Sales Representative. Territory: Greater Chicago Market. Initial compensation: Minimum $28,000. Excellent benefit package (401K, medical, dental, etc.)

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

POSITION: The Inside Sales Representative will: (1) teleprospect - generate qualified first appointments with prospects for outside sales team follow-up. (2) meet daily customer needs and expectations, (3) grow customer product mix (cross-selling), (4) research customers, prospects, vendors, and products, (5) create and maintain key contact management records, (6) prepare proposals, presentations, and correspondence, Teleprospecting (cold calling) represents 30-40% of daily activity. If you are effective at teleprospecting, adept with the PC and can skillfully engage both prospects and customers to (a) develop new business and (b) strengthen relationships . . . you will be successful with us! At PackSmart, we're looking for energy, enthusiasm, and a "can do" attitude. Compensation: $28,000 - $42,500. Excellent benefit package (401K, medical, dental, etc.)
